I have played almost all the major clubs in TO, including The Phoenix, Lee’s, Horseshoe, Rivoli, Revival, and others. I have done dinner jazz, big band jazz shows, corporate parties, weddings, festival gigs, TV appearances, and tours. I have been a session drummer on rock, metal, pop, and other recording projects.

I show up prepared and I try to play the gig the way you want it (louder/softer, busier/more sparse, sticks/brushes/mallets, etc.) Clicks, improvisation, charts, odd time signatures are all no problem.

I have professional acoustic and electronic drum kits to suit any performance situation. And a reliable car to get me to gigs.

I am based in the east GTA and will rehearse as far east as Oshawa and as far west as about Parkdale in Toronto.

I'll happily do all styles EXCEPT punk or metal - it's fun to listen to sometimes, but it's just not my thing as a player. However, I'm especially into anything funky.

I am looking for paying gigs only with existing professional/working artists and bands.

Less than 5% of these thieves are caught because they only exist in cyberspace. As one Toronto Fraud detective summarized - "These online music schools are more interested in getting your financial data than teaching anyone how to play music". The clever con artists often do not even operate from Canada and of course they need your checking account or credit card number to pay for the lessons. Last year Interpol and the U.S. Secret Service shut down 36 such operations but they admit that when one web site is shut down, the crooks put up another within 48 hours. DO NOT BE FOOLED OR IMPRESSED WITH FANCY WEBSITES THAT ARE ONLY A FRONT TO GAIN YOUR CONFIDENCE! Many will even claim to be RCM certified or dsiplaye the Better Business Bureau logo - it is all part of the ruse since they know most people will never bother to check with the BBB or RCM for their registrations. The only way to really avoid this scam is to get your music instruction from a local music school or academy that has a history in your community.
